Bespoke glass and splashbacks
for business and leisure applications

One of the most beautiful forms of artistic glass, kiln formed glass is vibrant, tasteful and each piece is perfectly unique, impossible to exactly replicate. Our in House Glass Artists are true masters of their craft and some of the most skilled in the business.

With one of the largest kilns in the country, 3m x 2m, we can take and produce from an idea to finished product, from dainty fused glass jewellery to a stunning large fused glass window. A beautiful alternative to a painting, fused glass is stunning framed and displayed in any location. Versatility is one of the many beauties of fused glass, and also its functional capabilities. It is the perfect medium to create bespoke awards, bowls, lampshades, coasters, window or door panes – the only limit to what can be done with fused glass is imagination.

Coordinated to your colour scheme, our bespoke designs, unique to your kitchen or bathroom could be just what you have been looking for! We can design, manufacture and install to any shape or style, including around your sockets and corners for a complete fit.

With a modern factory housing specialist manufacturing equipment all splashbacks can be made to a custom size and shape to meet your requirements exactly. Our own large format printer allows us to print any photographic quality image up to 3000mm x 2000mm directly onto the back of glass – we then back spray it to seal the image from damage. A computerised colour formulating system is used to match all leading brands of paint including Ral, Dulux, Valspar and Farrow & Ball.

Laminated glass is the process of bonding two or more pieces of glass together with a specialised adhesive, using specific timed heat settings and air pressure. A variety of insertions can be placed between the glass panels to create a sensational piece of artwork. For example, sheer fabrics or a printed image, depending on whether the final outcome is to be opaque or transparent. Where safety is an issue toughened/tempered glass can be used to a range of thickness.

Also known as sandblasted glass, one of the oldest forms of Glass Art, Etched Glass is a beautiful artistic solution, perfect for any item or location. From windows and doors, to adding text or images to mirrors or art work for both practical and decorative projects, etched glass is the answer you have been looking for.

Etched glass can be a perfect solution to add both privacy and an element of artistic flare to any location. Resulting in a frosted finish, etched glass is perfect for separating doors from a hotel lobby to rooms, bathroom windows in private homes, or as accent details wherever you desire. Our talented team in Spires Studio are highly skilled and can work to meet any brief requested.
